Special emphasis is placed on encouraging and promoting Negro businesses. At its inception, the program sought to encourage Negro businesses to improve their business acumen, efficiency, and service to the public, to be competitive with other businesses.

Project S.E.E.D. provides useful information in both areas and benefits Phi Beta Sigma members, families, and communities.

Sigma Business Initiative

The program's goals include supporting minority businesses, increasing communication with Sigma brothers involved with business, and instilling sound business principles and practices to members of the community.

V.I.T.A. Partnership

We encourage personal asset building and self- sufficiency through tax incentives. The program promotes tax understanding and awareness and supports the community by preparing complimentary tax returns for low-to-moderate income individuals.
